I want to show you the project that I made recently in my free time, in Maya. I used the Spider-Man character from an unreleased project for this short scene. It took about two to three days per scenes to create the motion sequence. Thanks to the layered animation method, the animation holds up to 50% slow motion without breaking or showing glitches during IK-FK transitions. For the scene, I used a segment from a Spider-Man movie and some handheld camera recording as references.


I struggled for hours with the Spider-Man web-rig but couldn’t get it to work. I'm not a rigger :) However, my friend, a professional rigging artist, created a perfectly suitable web-rig for me in just a few minutes.
